The classic cookie everyone loves! You know Hershey's Kisses cookies or even better Reese’s cookies! This is the recipe I use and I guarantee excellent results! I used half and half on my last batch just because I had some and they were excellent but milk works just as well. I only use real butter I can’t guarantee the results with anything but real Peanut Butter Blossoms.
1 3/4 C. Flour
1 Tsp. Baking Soda
1 Stick of salted butter, room temperature 1/2 C. Smooth peanut butter
1/2 C granulated sugar, plus more for rolling
1/2 C light brown sugar gently packed
1 Large egg
1 1/2 Tbsp. Milk, or half & half
1 Tsp. Vanilla extract
One 11 oz package of Hershey Kisses, foil removed, or Reese’s or any favorite candy!
1. Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. Using an electric mixer, cream together the butter, peanut butter, and both sugars. Add egg, milk, and vanilla; beat until well blended. Gradually add the flour mixture, mixing thoroughly. Refrigerate dough for about 30 minutes for easy rolling.
2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray oil or line the cookie sheet and set aside. Roll into 1-inch dough balls.
3. Roll cookie balls in sugar and place them 2 inches apart on the cookie sheet. Bake until light brown and puffy, about 6-8 minutes. Lightly press candy into each cookie and return to oven for 2-3 minutes. Cool
